📖 About the Festivals
Eid al-Fitr, the "Festival of Breaking the Fast", marks the end of Ramadan and falls on the first day of Shawwal. It's celebrated with special prayers, charity (Zakat al-Fitr) and family gatherings.
Eid al-Adha, the "Festival of Sacrifice", commemorates Prophet Ibrahim's (AS) willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to God. It falls on 10 Dhul Hijjah, alongside the completion of Hajj.
